Torsional Stiffness
Torsional Stiffness
The torsional stiffness is directly affected by the angle between the spoke and hub-flange, in which are determined by the lacing pattern and the hub’s flange size. The torsional stiffness of a wheel deals with torque from pedaling forces. The stiffer of a wheel in this sector, the faster a wheel will react to pedaling action.
